Now that I have been *legally* allowed to drive for two years I figured it was time to confess some of my greatest automotive sins.

Kinja'd!!!

My first car was an automatic, v6, 1998 mustang and I loved it more than life itself, one day while I was on a hot date, I hit a fvcking massive pothole (I’m talking several feet wide and 6 inches deep) and when my back tires ran through it my VERY poorly welded exhaust hit and snapped off just in front of the cats (blame the 2.5" lowering springs) so I was effectively straight piped. After removing the useless header back potion of my exhaust, I daily drove it for months it like this and even delivered pizzas while blasting that sweet 3.8 sound everywhere. I eventually sold it at around 200k miles with mismatched mufflers I had laying around welded to the headers, a leaking fuel tank, a broken handbrake cable, and a slipping Transmission to a ricer kid at my school who talked a lot of shit but knew no practical knowledge about cars

Kinja'd!!!

I bought a no title, stripped out, race prepped, slammed, FC rx7 and drove it on the street casually for a month or two

When you add up the amount of times I have jumped the 3 cars I have owned, it definitely surpasses the 200 mark

Kinja'd!!!

I have changed my fuel filter (above and behind the tank) on the side of my towns Main Street while being harassed and glared at by officers of the law and holding up rush hour traffic

I taught myself how to drive stick in the parking lot immediately after buying said rx7 and then drove it 30 miles home

The people at my local emissions place know me by name and I was asked not to return to the one back in my hometown because after failing a test I pulled a sick burnout out of the garage

Kinja'd!!!

My 280zx has seen a very liberal use of plastidip and I cut the muffler off so it would sound hella sick bro

I’m on my schools formula SEA team and I’m not even close to being an engineering student

I drift in this one empty business lot at least once a week

All of the cars I have owned have been excessively lowered but not stanced

I drive more than 4500 miles a year on my collector plates

I have a nasty reputation around my neighborhood as that goddamn college kid with the trashy cars and motorcycles who throws parties every weekend and wakes everyone up at night and in the morning with his goddamned loud exhausts

You’re living the life, keep doing what you’re doing... although maybe make sure your cars are titled and insured

They are KMC “hot wheels”, literately hot wheels branded wheels, the center caps had the flame logo on them but I got rid of them
